Pavel is one of the most exceptional developers I have ever worked with. More importantly though, he is also one of the most approachable and unintimidating. Languages, frameworks, concepts, etc... with which he is unfamiliar don't tend to stay unfamiliar for long. His curiosity is endless and his approach to self-guided learning is amazingly comprehensive; Pavel's understanding of any facet of development is never only surface-level. I could go on about the ways in which Pavel is an incredibly gifted programmer, but I will sum it up by saying that he is one of the rare developers whose code I would not mind inheriting on a project. But more important than any of that is his gift for collaboration and leadership. He was asked to help teach a bootcamp based largely on what a natural mentor he was to his peers. Students knew that no matter what the question was, Pavel would have the answer or be able to guide them in the right way to look for it, and in a way that they would be able to understand. Many students told me that after I had delivered a lecture, discussing the content with Pavel afterwords was what really helped the concepts click into place. He has a gift for articulating complex concepts in a very clear and concise way. I genuinely envy anyone who has the opportunity to work with Pavel; every day that I had the privilege to do so, I looked forward to seeing him.

BrainFlix

BandSite
Fictional website for a music band that allows users to join a conversation, view photo gallery, view show listings and listen to the most recent song from the band(I've also wrote and produced the song). The project was created as a separate front-end for an existing API.

Application for a multi-warehouse stock management. The application was developed in collaboration with 4 other developers within one week sprint. The project was managed through a JIRA Scrum board and utilized tickets, story points and other Agile elements. The mock-ups were provided through Figma and the application is responsive at and in-between all screen sizes.

About me
I am a full-stack web developer, who recently graduated from a bootcamp at BrainStation. Before changing careers I've spent over 10 years working in-house for a cloud backup provider as well as done a lot of freelance work for specialty coffee industry in Toronto.
I first got interested in development when I realized that I can affect things on the internet by tinkering with code. During my design career, I’ve joined numerous development communities of passionate individuals and even became a mentor and a manager of one that had over 200,000 students.
The company I’ve worked for got acquired, and I’ve also become a father. It was the time to decide what I want to do with my career, and development was always my passion.
Our lives are touched by technology on a daily basis, I want to be part of the industry that moves the world forward and be part of the change. I want to solve problems, and I want to do it through development.
